Our primary goal at this Covid 19 Pandemic is to provide safe and healthy environment for our patients and staff. In order to do this, we have implemented a number of important changes to our usual way of doing business.

  • Please wear a Mask into the clinic. This is Mandatory in our clinic.

  • Patients are asked to come alone (if possible) to appointment.

  • We need every patient to be familiar with our online system. We need new patients to fill out their intake forms online.

  • Verbal and written Covid-19 pre-screening questions will be done as a part of your appointment booking and at the time of your treatment.

  • If you have any Covid 19 symptoms, DO NOT COME. Call or Email our offices to reschedule.

  • Please arrive for your appointment as close to your appointment time as possible.

  • We mandate hand sanitizing before and after treatment. We created few hand sanitizing stations in the clinic.

Dr. Jinny Choi is a licensed naturopathic doctor of Evergreen Rehab & Wellness. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Simon Fraser University. She completed her training and education in naturopathic medicine at Boucher Institute of Naturopathic Medicine. She is trained in a variety of modalities including injections, nutraceuticals, herbal medicine, and pharmaceutical prescribing.

Her area of focus is treating chronic pain including neck pain, back pain, and headache. She also likes to treat mental-emotional issues and hormonal issues. She loves helping patients to thrive and achieve their overall well-being. She helps her patients by providing individualized treatment plans with various modalities.

Dr. Choi is originally from Korea. She is fluent in speaking Korean and English. She likes to spend her time in nature when she does not see the patients. She loves traveling and watching movies.

Tyler is a Registered Physiotherapist and Clinical Supervisor at the Evergreen Rehab & Wellness in Coquitlam. He achieved a Bachelor of Kinesiology in 2015 and a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2017 from the University of British Columbia. Looking at his past academic achievements, Tyler was awarded the Kinesiology Undergraduate Society Prize and the Physiotherapy Association of BC Student Engagement Award upon graduation.

Tyler specializes in treating sport and work related injuries, motor vehicle accidents, vestibular conditions, and has experience with effectively managing chronic low back pain and shoulder pain. With over 9 years of exercise experience, Tyler creates individualized exercise programs to restore movement and function for his patients. He is trained to provide treatments that include IMS (dry needling), manual therapy, shockwave therapy, electrotherapy, and vestibular rehab. Moreover, Tyler is able to provide services in English, French, and Cantonese. Tyler has always been very passionate about sport medicine and fitness, and wanted to use his knowledge to help others. In the past, Tyler has volunteered as a weight training coach for the Special Olympics Vancouver team, and has worked as a lifeguard, personal trainer, and fitness instructor. Currently, Tyler volunteers as an alumni mentor in the UBC Kinesiology Mentorship Program. In terms of his athletic background, Tyler was a competitive powerlifter and won the BCPA 2015 Winter Open Bench Press competition for his weight class and age.

Outside of the clinic, Tyler loves going to the gym and has hopes of competing in powerlifting again someday. Recently, Tyler has joined a multi-sport recreational league with his church group, that includes volleyball, basketball, and soccer. Peter (Ki-Hong) graduated from University of British Columbia with a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology. He has been an active member of Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology (CSEP) and working as a certified personal trainer in various settings. Currently, he is a practicing member of British Columbia Association of Kinesiologists (BACK) with a focus on active rehabilitation.

Audrey is a Registered Physiotherapist at Evergreen Rehab and Wellness in Coquitlam. Audrey obtained her Masters of Physical Therapy from Western University in London Ontario, after completing her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Psychology with Honors at University of New Brunswick. Audrey has graduated in first class standing with 4 years of academic scholarship at UNB and was a vice president of fundraising at Western helping kids with burn injuries.

Audrey was born in Korea and raised in New Zealand during her childhood before moving to Canada where she was a professional tennis player. She won the women’s tennis provincial championship in New Brunswick for two years in a row. Audrey is an all-around athlete where she represented her school in various sports including varsity basketball, volleyball, tennis, and golf. Audrey holds tennis instructor licence and was a tennis instructor in New Brunswick before starting her Physiotherapy journey.

Throughout her work, Audrey has extensive experience in treating motor vehicle accidents, sport and work-related injuries, concussion, neurological conditions (stroke, spinal cord injuries, MS, Parkinson’s) as well as chronic pain management. Audrey uses a combination of manual therapy, shockwave therapy, electrotherapy, patient education and exercise prescription to help her patients. Audrey has completed post-graduate education in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy Level 1, soft tissue releases and vestibular/concussion rehabilitation.

Prof. David Lee

David joined Evergreen Rehab & Wellness in 2020 with the intention of treating numerous types of psychological issues, including mood disorders, anxiety problems, as well as traumatic disorders from motor vehicle accidents. With several years of experience, David has successfully worked with a fair number of patients from different ethnicity groups, age, and stage of their problems. David highly focused on providing comfort and care for his patients.

Education David studied his undergraduate program (Bachelor of Arts in Psychology) at the University of British Columbia (UBC, Vancouver), and graduate program (Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling) at University of the Southwest (USW) He is a Registered Clinical Counsellor, under British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC), as well as a Licensed Psychoanalyst under Concordia International University (CIU).

Jin Youn (Broughton) is a Registered Clinical Counselor (RCC) with the BC Association of Clinical Counselors (BCACC), providing services for clients with trauma. Jin has been providing clinical counselling since 2006, providing individual, couple, and group counselling for clients aging in range from the teens to the elderly. During these years, Jin has been providing counselling on mental health and addiction issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, mild brain injury, child and youth mental health, anger management, crime victim assistance, relationship and family issues, parenting, and so on. Jin’s foundation of therapy is a biopsychosocial-spiritual model, viewing a human being as a whole person with four aspects: physical, psychological, social, and spiritual. Therefore, Jin is able to see the whole picture on how a brain injury, physical illness, physical trauma, or substance abuse affects human emotions, cognition, behavior, and spirituality.
