Tyler Jay is a Registered Massage Therapist that has completed the massage therapy program in 2018 at Vancouver Career College. Before attending the massage therapy program, Tyler completed his B.A. in Psychology at the University of British Columbia. Previously to the program, Tyler used to compete in local tennis tournaments. During this time, he suffered from a few injuries that affected his training routine. This included pain with his shoulders, wrists, knees, and lower back. Massage therapy helped him with the pain he was experiencing so he could continue competing at a provincial level. Tyler understands the stresses of competing. He wants to alleviate the additional stress an injury can create physically.
Tyler likes to work with his patients to achieve their goals. He believes pain should not always have to be permanent. Additionally, Tyler wants to make a difference in people’s lives through massage. For those who are injured or in pain, he would like to improve their quality of life by allowing them to return to the activities they enjoy.
Tyler is happy to treat a wide range of conditions. He is particularly interested in working with fascia/soft tissue, and he also enjoys working with patients who experience nerve compression. Below are some of the techniques that he implements in his treatments:
• Trigger Point Release (TrP) – used on knots or nodules in the muscle to reduce discomfort • Active/Passive Release – used to reduce tightness of muscles • Golgi Tendon Organ Release – reduces muscle tension • Swedish Massage – general relaxation and tissue warm up • Joint Mobilization – maintains joint health and range of motion • Fascia Manipulation – the release of soft tissue that may be inducing pain • PNF Stretching – lengthens shortened muscles that could be causing discomfort
Additionally, Tyler is always looking forward to improving his knowledge base. He is excited to learn and improve himself as a health care professional. In the future, he is interested in becoming a chiropractor or in pursuing osteopathy.
Tyler enjoys coaching tennis. He used to coach at the Richmond Tennis Club as a co-head coach and continues to teach from time to time. Marian, Mi-lim Kim is a registered Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner (R.TCM.P) of Evergreen Rehab and Wellness. She obtained a Bachelor of Korean Medicine from Kyung Hee University in Seoul, South Korea. She has 15 years of clinical experience. Initially, she became interested in Science Philosophy and Eastern Philosophy while studying Art Philosophy at Seoul National University. To have a career that would enable her to continue learning humans and helping others throughout her life, she decided to become a Traditional Korean Medical Doctor.
While operating an INURI Korean Medical Clinic in Korea, she gained clinical experience as a family Oriental Medicine physician specializing in children. She treated acute infectious diseases, chronic rhinitis, cough, pneumonia, eczema, skin burn, mental concentration problems, growth, and premature puberty in children and adolescents. She managed their parents, who balanced work and childcare for headaches, muscle pain, menstrual pain, chronic fatigue, and infertility. Also, their grandparents, who took responsibility for childcare instead of busy parents, complained of degenerative joint pain to her, so she healed their pains and took care of stroke prevention. Sometimes families involved in car accidents preferred her clinic if they have kids or babies. She felt great satisfaction in helping improve their relationships by treating them as a family unit, discussing their conflicts together, and resolving their physical and psychological complaints by making patients understand their diseases, herbal medicine for internal and external uses, and many treatment skills like Acupunctures, Trigger Point Therapy, Moxibustions, Cupping, Kinesiotaping, etc. She primarily focuses on relieving the discomfort that patients experience daily despite having no abnormalities in their medical test results. She believes that it is essential to improve the discomfort that no one explains, such as “Why does my headache continue?”, “Why are my eyes dry?”, “Why are my feet cold?”, “Why do I keep waking up and going to the bathroom all night?”, “Why does my kid dislike to eat?”, “Why do I still have pains though the accident went through long time ago?”, “Why is my skin wound not healing properly?”, etc. Although there are no problems in medical examinations, traditional medicine can diagnose which balance is disrupted and causing such symptoms, predict which disease will occur if this sign is not controlled, and treat them. Additionally, as most symptoms come from imbalances in one’s constitution and temperament, diet, lifestyle, and physical and mental activities, individualized coaching for lifestyle management is necessary. She explains that traditional medicine has a prominent advantage in these two areas. She hopes to help patients escape from diseases and discomforts and prevent significant diseases by raising their natural healing power.
When she has free time, she reads detective stories, watches Japanimation, and talks about them with her children. She is trying to do weight training regularly to enjoy eating enough food and prevent aging. She likes to grow pot plants. Her favorites are ivy and rubber trees.

Dr. Eric (Taehee) Park is a board-certified Chiropractor. Dr. Park began his journey as a chiropractor when he was doing his undergraduate degree in University of Illinois. He was involved in a neck injury while playing soccer, and while other modalities helped relieve the pain temporarily, only the chiropractor was able to address the cause and help him recover. As a result, he decided to pursue a career in this field and completed his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic.
Because of Dr. Park’s experiences, he is not only interested in the treatment or relief of neuro-musculoskeletal diseases of his patients, but also in addressing the cause by focusing on the prevention and well-being of patient. During his schooling, he has devoted his training into Gonstead system of chiropractic. In fact, prior to working at Evergreen Clinics in Coquitlam & Surrey BC, he worked in Ontario to further expand his knowledge in this system. Gonstead chiropractic involves a thorough analysis of the spine, to locate the exact location of the neuro-spinal lesion, and hands-on adjusting of that segment to allow the natural expression of the body. As a result, Dr. Park’s care style focuses on spinal and extremity joint adjusting, as well as wellness education that is geared specifically to the patient.
Dr. Park loves to serve patients. He has previously served on a chiropractic mission trip to Guatemala, where he helped hundreds of people suffering in pain.
